Mthobisi Gudazi, known by his stage name Gudaazi, is an artist whose musical journey began in church. Starting in 2010 at Sunday School, Gudaazi found healing and solace through singing gospel music.

His passion for music has seen him share the stage with several renowned South African artists, including Thina Zungu, Jumbo, Andile Mbili, and Ithwasa Lekhansela. He has also performed alongside Zamo Cofi, one of South Africa’s leading poets, and motivational speaker Scelo Mncube.

While still in school, he was often called “Gudaazi,” a nickname that stuck and eventually became his stage name. In addition to his musical talents, Gudaazi’s skills and dedication led him to win the eThekwini Municipality Youth Talent Show, an achievement that earned him the title of eThekwini Municipality Youth Ambassador for two years.

Gudaazi’s aspirations extend beyond the borders of South Africa. He envisions himself creating soundtracks for international movies, soapies, and dramas, pursuing his dream of making an impact on the global stage.
