Marley-Girl Dineo Mokoena, born on 15 June 1996 in eMalahleni (Witbank), Mpumalanga, is a talented South African singer-songwriter and actress. From an early age, she showed a deep passion for music and acting. Her journey in music began when she joined her school’s clap and tap choirs, eventually becoming a lead vocalist. As she continued to grow, so did her love for music and performance.

Marley-Girl’s versatility extends to the theatre, where she has also made a name for herself. She won Best Supporting Actress at CODA Mzansi Fela for her role in “Woman and the Shadow,” directed by Mhlanguli George, a critically acclaimed production staged at the State Theatre.

Though her music incorporates a range of genres, Marley-Girl has crafted her own distinctive sound. Her discography includes three standout singles: Ngivumeleni, Future in You, and Endaweni. Her talent and dedication have led to numerous collaborations with other artists, and she’s eager to work with more in the near future.
